Tough queries! Incidentally, we thought that the jurors’ questions were generally too tough for the tilt. It definitely isn’t easy to be nervous, stressed, exhausted and facing millions of viewers—and still having to come up with intelligent, well-phrased, sensitive and felt responses to really tough queries on “the effects of unsupervised exposure of young people to the Internet,” “the acceptability of the use of full-body scanners at airport terminals,” “restrictions on the use of religious clothing in some countries”—etc! Have a heart, folks. Very few people, no matter how lovely or ugly, can deal with that really difficult challenge without ending up with egg on their faces! (inquirer.net)
